Overview
This part of IEC 62343 contains the measurement method of response time for a dynamic gain tilt equalizer (DGTE), to change its gain tilt from any arbitrary initial value to a desired target value. The standard thus offers investment security for manufacturers and users and provides testing laboratories and manufacturers with detailed information on testing. The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 412.2 "Komponenten für Kommunikationskabelanlagen" ("Components for communication cabling systems") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
