Overview

This standard specifies a protocol and test method for the control of electronic control devices with digital signals for lighting purposes. The tests in this standard are type tests. Requirements for testing individual control gear during production are not included. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 521.3 "Geräte für Lampen" ("Auxiliaries for lamps") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
