Overview
The standard specifies a protocol and test procedures for the control by digital signals of electronic control gear. The control gear is intended for connection to a.c. and d.c. supplies and associated with LED modules. The tests in this standard are type tests. Requirements for testing individual control gear during production are not included. The Subcommittee responsible for this standard is UK 521.3 "Geräte für Lampen" ("Auxiliaries for lamps") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
