Overview
The standard specifies a protocol and test procedures for the control by digital signals of electronic control gear working as automatic sequencers. Control gear works as automatic sequencers. DIN EN 62386-210 (VDE 0712-0-210) shall be used in connection with DIN EN 62386-101 (VDE 0712-0-101):2010-04 and DIN EN 62386-102 (VDE 0712-0-102):2010-04 which contain general requirements for the corresponding product type (control gear or control device). The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 521.3 "Geräte für Lampen" ("Auxiliaries for lamps") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
