Overview
This International Standard deals with the safety of electric motor or magnetically operated: - hand-held tools (Part 2); - transportable tools (Part 3); - lawn and garden machinery (Part 4). The above groups are hereinafter referred to as "power tools" or "machines". This standard applies to screwdrivers and impact wrenches. This corrigendum corrects Table 4 "Required performance levels" and takes into account the extension of the dow (latest date by which national standards conflicting with this document shall be withdrawn) in the European Foreword, according to document of CENELEC BT/151/DG9775/DL (Decision D151/C140) of September 2015. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
