DIN EN 716-2:2017-08

This European Standard specifies test methods for assessing the safety of children's cots and folding cots for domestic use. It applies to children’s cots and folding cots with an internal length greater than 900 mm but not more than 1 400 mm. The amendment A1:2013 has been incorporated and incorrect references to clauses have been corrected. The specifications for the test mattress in 4.3 have been formulated more clearly and the folding test on children's beds and mattress bases in 5.7.1 has been changed. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 042-05-13 AA "Anforderungen an Kindermöbel, Spiegelausschuss CEN/TC 207/WG 2, CEN/TC 364" ("Requirements for children's and nursery furniture, (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 207/WG 2, CEN/TC 364)") at DIN Standards Committee Timber and Furniture (NHM).
