Overview
This European Standard specifies the technical delivery conditions for drawn aluminum and aluminum alloy rod and tube for general applications and applies to extruded and subsequently drawn products. This document does not apply to: - forging stock (EN 603), - products delivered in coils (EN 13958), - coiled tubes cut to length (EN 13958). This European Standard has been revised by Working Group WG 5 "Extruded and drawn products" (secretariat: SN, Norway) at Technical Committee CEN/TC 132 "Aluminium and aluminium alloys" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) of at the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 066-01-04 AA "Strangpresserzeugnisse" ("Extruded products") at DIN Standards Committee Nonferrous Metals (FNNE).
