Overview
This European Standard specifies the characteristics and performance requirements for masonry units manufactured from clay for which the main intended uses are protected or unprotected masonry structure, for example facing and rendered masonry, loadbearing or non-loadbearing masonry structures, including internal linings and partitions, for building and civil engineering. From the German side the experts of NA 005-06-02 AA "Koordinierungsausschuss Mauersteine (SpA zu CEN/TC 125/WG 1)" ("Coordinating committee Masonry Units (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 125/WG 1)") have accompanied the work.
