It also contains information on physical and chemical properties and general information on the manufacture and use of the products. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 164/WG 9 "Drinking water treatment" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) with the active German participation of Working Committee NA 119-07-13 AA "Aufbereitungsstoffe und -anlagen" ("Chemicals and plants for water treatment" at DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW).
