Overview

This standard specifies the characteristics of flexible sheets for underlays which are to be used under roof covering of discontinuous roofs. It specifies the requirements and test methods and provides for the evaluation of conformity of the products with the requirements of this document. This standard differs from DIN EN 13859-1:2010-11 as follows: a) the application-related characteristic "emissivity" has been added; b) the wording and Annex ZA have been adapted to the Construction Products Regulation. Regarding the German collaboration, the responsible Working Committee is NA 005-02-91 AA "Flexible Bahnen unter Dachdeckungen, SpA zu CEN/TC 254/WG 9" ("Flexible sheets under roofing; Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 254/WG 9") of the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee (NABau).
