Overview
This document (EN 994:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 134 "Resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 054-04-09 "Prüfung und Verwendungsbereichseinstufung von textilen Bodenbelägen" ("Testing and field of classification of textile floor coverings") of the Plastics Standards Committee (FNK) at DIN. This European Standard specifies a method for determining the length and straightness of the edges and the squareness of floor coverings in the form of right-angled tiles.
