DIN EN IEC 62282-7-2:2025-12

This document deals with so-called SOFC cell/stack assembly units. Apart from the fuel cell or stack these mounting units also consist of the necessary peripheral devices, as both the various designs and sizes of solid oxide fuel cells and stacks and the peripheral devices can have an impact on power generation characteristics. This document describes methods for testing various aspects of the performance characteristics of solid oxide fuel cells and stacks. This document is not applicable to small button cells that are designed for SOFC material testing and provide no practical means of fuel utilization measurement. The standard differs from DIN EN IEC 62282-7-2 (VDE 0130-7-2):2022-08 as follows: a) Table 1 has been revised in order to specify missing unit information for several terms and definitions; b) bibliographies have been added (ISO/TR 15916, SOCTESQA test modules and ISO/IEC Guide 98-6:2021) in order to provide further information. This document is intended for those responsible for the performance testing of solid oxide fuel cells and stacks. Users of this document can selectively execute test items suitable for their purposes from those described in this document.
