DIN EN IEC 62386-102:2024-11

This document is applicable to control gear for control by digital signals of electronic lighting equipment. This part contains general requirements for control gear. This third edition of IEC 62386-102 is intended for use in conjunction with IEC 62386-101 and the various parts of the IEC 62386-2x series of standards for control gear and can be used in conjunction with IEC 62386-103 for control devices. There are no restrictions on the scope of application in this standard. The standard differs from DIN EN 62386-102 (VDE 0712-0-102):2020-02 as follows: a) the scope has been updated; b) references have been updated; c) memory bank reading of multi-byte values has been added; d) memory bank 0 and common memory bank requirements have been updated; e) reserved memory banks have been updated; f) non-volatile memory (NVM) save time has been added, and SAVE PERSISTENT VARIABLES removed; g) version number has been updated; h) information on the configuration of bus units has been updated. This document supports the design, construction, and programming of control gear with digital interfaces for integration into a DALI bus system for lighting control.
