DIN EN IEC 62512:2024-09

This International Standard specifies the test methods for testing combined washer-dryers for household use in their function of washing and drying textiles. The purpose is to specify and define the basic parameters of electric washer-dryers for domestic use that are of interest to users and to describe standardized methods for measuring these parameters. This International Standard does not apply to tests of individual washing or drying functions. The standard differs from DIN EN IEC 62512 (VDE 0705-2512):2022-04 as follows: a) adjusted precision for the washing efficiency index; b) undated references in normative clauses have been dated; c) references to the new Amendment EN 60456:2016/prAB:2023 have been updated. This document provides a measurement method applicable to the washing and drying of textiles for EU regulations on ecodesign and energy consumption labeling of combined washer-dryers for household use.
