DIN EN IEC 63086-1:2024-04

This part of IEC 63086 applies to electrically operated air cleaners for household and similar purposes, intended for use on single-phase input circuits with a rated alternating voltage up to 250 V and on input circuits with a rated direct voltage up to 48 V. For combination products, this document shall be used to measure the performance of the appliance in terms of pollutant reduction. This document does not apply to: - appliances intended exclusively for industrial use; - appliances intended for use in medical care/treatment locations, such as operating rooms, laboratories, medical treatment rooms, etcetera; - extractors for cooking fumes (see IEC 61591). This document contains the amendments to standard IEC 63086-1:2020-04: - change of scope; - replacement of Note 1 on the term in 3.8; - replacement of the heading in 5.6.2.
