Overview

The standard DIN EN ISO 10341 specifies requirements and test methods for refractor heads used for the determination of refractive errors and binocular functions of the human eye. The standard is primarily directed at the manufacturers of such refractor heads. With respect to the previous edition DIN EN ISO 10341:2009-10, the requirements specified in Tables 2, 3 and 4 (Tolerances on spherical power, cylindrical power and prismatic effect) have been partly revised. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 027-01-08 AA "Augenoptik" ("Ophthalmic optics"), Working Group "Ophthalmische Instrumente" ("Ophthalmic instruments") at NAFuO.
