With the first amendment to EN ISO 10517:2009 the requirements for blunt extentions that are not an integral part of the cutting means have been rendered more precise and Figure 7 has been changed accordingly. This shall reduce the risk of cuts on the legs. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 020-00-11-06 UA "Heckenscheren" ("Hedge trimmers") at DIN.
