Overview
This part of the standard describes the equipment and the test method for assessing the propensity of textile floor coverings to soiling in the absence of abrasive wear and texture changes using a standard artificial soil composition. This test method is applicable for use in testing unused textile floor coverings of all types. Amendment 1 revised the properties of polyamide pellets in Subclause 4.3. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 219 "Floor coverings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 134 "Resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings", the secretariat of which is held by NBN. Working Committee NA 054-04-09 AA "Textile Bodenbeläge" ("Textile floor coverings") at DIN Standards Committee Plastics (FNK) is responsible for the German collaboration.
