Overview

The decision to revise ISO 11970:2007 was taken by ISO/TC 17/SC 11 - Steel castings. In particular, Figures 1 to 3 have been completely revised and divided into 7 new figures to make them easier to read and clearer for the user. In addition, the information for A3 in Table 2 has been modified and A4 has been deleted from this table. Since ISO 11970:2007 has already been adopted in Europe, ECISS/TC 111 - Steel castings and forgings - decided to adopt the revised version ISO 11970:2015 in accordance with the Vienna Agreement.
