DIN EN ISO 12006-3 specifies a language-independent information model which can be used for the development of dictionaries used to store or provide information about construction works. It enables classification systems, information models, object models and process models to be referenced from within a common framework. This standard only contains the original English version of the ISO standard. The German mirror committee is Working Committee NA 005-01-39 AA "BIM - Building Information Modeling (mirror committee to ISO/TC 59/SC 13 - CEN/TC 442)" at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
