This standard specifies the characteristics of slotted cheese head screws of product grade A and with threads from M1,6 to M10 inclusive. With respect to the previous standard and in addition to the editorial revision of the document, the specifications for the surface have been concretized by supplementing non-electrolytically applied zinc flake coatings and passivation. This document (EN ISO 1207:2011) has been prepared by ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners", in collaboration with CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners" (secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 067-00-05 AA "Kleinschrauben und gewindeformende Schrauben" ("Miniature screws and thread forming screws") of the Fasteners Standards Committee (FMV).
