DIN EN ISO 12670:2015-12

This standard specifies technical supply conditions for thermally sprayed coatings for the manufacturing or repair of components. This standard differs from DIN EN 15311:2007-06 as follows: a) the technical substance of the standard has not been changed; b) normative references in Clause 2 and in the Bibliography have been updated; c) Subclauses 4.1 (General requirements) and 4.2 (Technical requirements) have been rendered more precise by referring to a spray procedure qualification according to DIN EN 15648. The text of ISO 12670:2011 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 107 "Metallic and other inorganic coatings" of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and adopted as FprEN ISO 12670:2015 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 240 "Thermal spraying and thermal sprayed coatings", the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). The responsible German standardization committee is DIN/DVS Joint Committee NA 092-00-14 AA (DVS AG V 7) "Thermisches Spritzen und thermisch gespritzte Schichten " ("Thermal spraying and thermal sprayed coatings") at DIN Standards Committee Welding and allied processes (NAS).
