Overview
This part of DIN EN ISO 13503 provides a consistent methodology for determining the viscosity of completion fluids used in the petroleum and natural gas industries. For certain cases, methods are also provided to determine the rheological properties of a fluid. For Germany, Working Group NA 109-00-01-03 AK "Bohrspülung und Zemente - Spiegelausschuss zu ISO/TC 67/SC 3" ("Drilling and completion fluids, and well cements - Mirror Committee of ISO/TC 67/SC 3") of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries Standards Committee (NÖG) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardisation e. V., has participated in the preparation of this standard.
