Overview
This International Standard specifies requirements and gives recommendations for the design, materials, fabrication, inspection, testing, preparation for shipment, and erection of fired heaters, air heaters for general refinery service. This International Standard is not intended to apply to the design of steam reformers or pyrolysis furnaces. For Germany Working Committee NA 109-00-01 AA "Materialien, Ausrüstungen und Offshore-Bauwerke für die Erdöl-, petrochemische und Erdgasindustrie - Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 12 und ISO/TC 67" ("Materials, equipment and offshore structures for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries - Mirror Committee for CEN/TC 12 and ISO/TC 67") of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries Standards Committee (NÖG) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V., participated.
