This International Standard specifies specimen dimensions and a testing procedure for tensile shear testing of spot, seam and projection welds with embossed projections on overlapping sheets of any metallic material of sheet thickness from 0.5 mm to 10 mm, with the welds being subject to restrictions in the maximum diameter. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 092-00-12 AA "Widerstandsschweißen (DVS AG V 3.9)" ("Resistance welding (DVS AG V 3.9)") at DIN.
