This International Standard gives a list of FTSC (fire potential, that is "oxidizing potential and flammability", toxicity, state of the gas, and corrosiveness) codes determined according to the relevant properties of gases and of some liquids that are transported under pressure. It does not cover gas material compatibility which is covered by ISO 11114 (all parts). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 016-00-03 AA "Druckgasflaschen und Ausrüstung; Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 23 und ISO/TC 58" ("Transportable gas cylinders and equipment; National mirror committee to CEN/TC 23 and ISO/TC 58") at DIN Standards Committee Pressurized Gas Installations (NDG).
