Overview
The standard DIN EN ISO 15012-1 describes a method for testing equipment for the separation of welding fume in order to determine whether its separation efficiency meets specified requirements. The method described does not apply to testing of filter cartridges independent of the equipment in which they are intended to be used. The standard DIN EN ISO 15012-1 applies to equipment that is manufactured after the publication of this standard. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 092-00-09 AA "Arbeits- und Gesundheitsschutz beim Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren" ("Health and safety in welding and allied processes") at DIN.
