Overview

The standard specifies the procedure for preliminary examination of a sample as received for testing. Furthermore it specifies the procedure for preparing a sample by blending and reduction of a series of samples representative of a consignment or bulk of paint, varnish or related product. The samples of the product to be tested shall be taken in accordance with DIN EN ISO 15528. At DIN the Committee responsible for this standard is NA 002-00-07 AA "Allgemeine Prüfverfahren für Beschichtungsstoffe und Beschichtungen" ("General test methods for coating materials and coatings").
