DIN EN ISO 15791-1:2014-05

This standard provides a framework guide to the public, dealing with the development and use of intermediate-scale fire tests for products made of or containing plastics. This standard is intended for manufacturers and testing institutes. It identifies typical applications of plastics products and possible fire scenarios that can arise involving products in these applications. DIN EN ISO 15791-1 contains the German version the International Standard ISO 15791-1, which has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 61 "Plastics", Subcommittee "Burning behavior" and has been adopted as a European Standard by Technical Committee CEN/TC 249 "Plastics". The committee responsible for this standard for DIN is Working Committee NA 054-01-05 AA "Brandverhalten" ("Burning behaviour") at the Plastics Standards Committee (FNK).
