Overview

The EN ISO 16120-1 to -4 standard series applies for wire rod of non-alloy steel intended for wire drawing and/or cold rolling. These standards have been developed during the collaboration of Technical Committees ISO/TC 17/SC 17 and ECISS/TC 106. After its publication, there will be a uniform standard series (international and European) for these products for the first time. The responsible German Committee is Subcommittee 08/2 "Walzdraht zum Ziehen" ("Wire rod for conversion to wire") of the Iron and Steel Standards Committee (FES).
