This part of ISO 17078 specifies requirements for side-pocket mandrels used in the petroleum and natural gas industry. This part of ISO 17078 includes the technical specifications, selection, design, manufacture, quality control, testing and preparation for shipping of side-pocket mandrels. German Working Group NÖG 12/67 AK 4 "Bohr- und Fördereinrichtungen" ("Drilling and production equipment") of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries Standards Committee (NÖG) has collaborated in the preparation of this standard.
