Overview
This standard specifies requirements for classification of solid wires, strips and rods for fusion welding of nickel and nickel alloys. The classification of the solid wires, strips and rods is based on their chemical composition. Within the framework of this standard, nine new alloys have been added and one has been deleted. This standard adapts the International Standard ISO 18274:2011 which has been prepared by ISO/TC 44/SC 3 "Welding consumables". The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 092-00-03 AA "Schweißzusätze (DVS AG W 5)" ("Welding consumables (DVS AG W 5)") of NAS.
