DIN EN ISO 18674-2:2017-03

This document specifies the measurement of displacements along a line by means of extensometers carried out for geotechnical monitoring. It shall be applied in conjunction with EN ISO 18674-1. This document applies in particular to the exploration of soil and rock, the testing of geotechnical values in connection with the observation method, the derivation of geotechnical values (for example by pile load tests or trial tunnelling) and the assessment of stability before, during and after construction (for example natural slopes, slope cuts, embankments, excavation walls, foundations, dams, refuse dumps, tunnels). The responsible German committee is NA 005-05-09 AA "Baugrund; Feldversuche (SpA zu CEN/TC 341/WG 1, WG 2, WG 3 und WG 5 sowie ISO/TC 182/WG 2)" ("Ground; field tests ((national mirror committee for CEN/TC 341/WG 1, WG 2, WG 3 and WG 5 as well as ISO/TC 182/WG 2)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
