Overview
This part of ISO 19063 establishes a system of designation for impact-resistant polystyrene (PS-I) moulding and extrusion materials, which may be used as the basis for specifications. This standard differs from DIN EN ISO 2897-1:1999-10 as follows: a) the number of the standard has been changed; b) the Introduction has been added; c) the data block system has been revised and brought more into line with ISO 1043 and ISO 11469. This document (EN ISO 19063-1:2015) has been prepared by ISO/TC 61 "Plastics", in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 249 "Plastics", the secretariat of which is held by NBN (Belgium). The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 054-02-10 AA "Thermoplast-Werkstoffe" ("Thermoplastic materials") at DIN Standards Committee Plastics (FNK).
