DIN EN ISO 19066-1:2015-02

This part of ISO 19066 establishes a system of designation for methyl methacrylate-acrylonitrilebutadiene-styrene (MABS) moulding and extrusion materials, which can be used as the basis for specifications. This standard differs from DIN EN ISO 10366-1:2003-02 as follows: a) the number of the standard has been changed to DIN EN ISO 19066-1; b) the data block system has been simplified and connected more to ISO 1043 and ISO 11469, where the first two blocks are used for generic identification and marking of products. c) normative references have been updated; d) document has been editorially revised. This document (EN ISO 19066-1) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 61 "Plastics", in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 249 "Plastics", the secretariat of which is held by NBN (Belgium). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 054-02-10 AA "Thermoplast-Formmassen" ("Thermoplastic materials") at the Plastics Standards Committee (FNK) at DIN.
