Overview
This standard defines a concept for describing the quality of geographic data as well as the frame for quality assurance of production processes. This is intended for formal description of the quality of geographic data in order to assess the usability of the data in any application. This standard also includes guidance, how this quality data can be described, analyzed and delivered. The responsible body for this standard is NA 005-03-03 AA "Geoinformation (SpA zu CEN/TC 287+ISO/TC 211)" ("Geographic Information (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 287 and ISO/TC 211)") at DIN.
