DIN EN ISO 20361:2010-10

With the publishing of DIN EN ISO 20361, the publishing of a further standardization project created in CEN/TC 197 Pumps as an ISO standard has been successful. The amendments in respect to the preceding document are limited to the formal changes which were necessary in the context of alignment with the new Machinery Directive. The content of this DIN EN ISO standard is nearly identical to DIN EN 12639:2000 - with the exception of minimal editorial changes. The subject of DIN EN ISO 20361 is thus unchanged, the determination of the noise emitted from a pump or pump unit through the characteristics sound power level and sound pressure level and allows the user to represent the effectiveness of noise reduction measures. Thus, the noise emission of the later product can already be influenced during the construction phase.
