This part of ISO 20568 specifies a system for the designation of fluoropolymers that can be used as a basis for specifications. The different types of fluoropolymers are distinguished from each other by means of a classification system based on appropriate value ranges of the characteristic properties. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 054-02-10 AA "Thermoplast-Formmassen" ("Thermoplastic materials") at DIN Standards Committee Plastics (FNK).
