Overview

This International Standard describes a set of data types which is common in healthcare in order to support information exchange in the healthcare environment. Semantics is based on ISO 11404. It also describes a UML and XML representation of these data types. In particular, the works take into account the works of HL7 Version 3, ISO 11404 and EN 13606. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 063-07-02 AA "Interoperabilität" ("Interoperability") at DIN.
