This standard specifies a test method for determining the dynamic and static coefficients of friction for light conveyor belts according to ISO 21183-1. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 41 "Pulleys and belts (including veebelts)", SC 3 "Conveyor belts" of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and was adopted by Technical Committee CEN/TC 188 "Conveyor belts". The responsible national committee is NA 045-02-05 AA "Fördergurte"("Conveyor belts") at the Rubber Technology Standards Committee (FAKAU).
