DIN EN ISO 21670:2014-09

This International Standard specifies characteristics for hexagon weld nuts with flange, with sizes M5 to M16 (coarse thread) or D = 8 mm to 16 mm (fine pitch thread), of product grade A. Weld nuts conforming to this standard are suitable for use with bolts of property classes up to 10.9 according to ISO 898-1. In this revised version, the dates have been deleted from the Normative References in order to allow, without any doubt, the application of the relevant valid version of a standard, in particular ISO 898-2. This standard is identical with the European Standard EN ISO 21670, into which the International Standard ISO 21670 has been adopted without any modifications. This standard has been prepared by ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners", in collaboration with CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners", the secretariats of which are held by DIN. The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 067-00-03 AA "Verbindungselemente mit metrischem Innengewinde" ("Fasteners with metric internal thread") at the Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV) at DIN.
