The scope extends over specific requirements for factory applied single layer fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) coatings for the corrosion protection of bare steel pipe for use in pipeline transportation systems for the petroleum and natural gas industries. This standard is a product standard/test standard and deals in particular with aspects of the quality of FBE coatings.
