DIN EN ISO 225:2011-02

This standard specifies the definitions for the dimensions of bolts, screws, studs and nuts for use in the appropriate product standards and drawings. Along with the update of figures and the incorporation of further dimensions, a supplement of bolts and screws with triple square socket head, stud bolts, set screws with hexolobular socket as well as thread forming screws and thread cutting screw has been incorporated. The European/International standard EN ISO 225 has been prepared by ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners", in collaboration with CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners" (both secretariats: DIN, Germany). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 067-00-01 AA "Referenznormen und Qualitätsmanagement" ("Reference standards and quality management") at FMV.
