Overview
The product standard specifies the requirements for three types, three classes and two categories of textile-reinforced rubber hose for compressed air, up to a maximum working pressure of 25 bar with an operating-temperature range of -40 °C to +70 °C, depending on the type and category. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and rubber products" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies". The responsible national standardization committee is Working Committee NA 045-02-12 AA "Gummi- und Kunststoffschläuche sowie Schlauchleitungen" ("Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies") at DIN Standards Committee Elastomer Technology (NET).
