Overview
This document specifies requirements for the dimensions, material and manufacture of a steel block for calibrating ultrasonic test equipment used in manual testing. This document (EN ISO 2400:2012) has been prepared by CEN/TC 138 "Non-destructive testing", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German committee is NA 062-08-23 AA "Ultraschallprüfung" ("Ultrasonic testing") at the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) at DIN. This International Standard specifies requirements for the dimensions, material and manufacture of a steel block for calibrating ultrasonic test equipment used in manual testing.
