DIN EN ISO 2419:2012-05

This document (EN ISO 2419:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 289 "Leather", the secretariat of which is held by UNI (Italy) in collaboration with the "International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies" (IULTCS). The responsible national committee is Working Committee NA 062-05-51 AA "Anforderungen und physikalische Prüfverfahren für Leder und seine Ausgangsprodukte" ("Requirements and physical test methods of leather and ...") at the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) at DIN. This International Standard specifies the preparation of leather for physical and mechanical testing together with standard atmospheres for conditioning and testing. It is applicable to all types of dry leather. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN EN ISO 2419:2006-04: a) tropical atmosphere has been included as an alternative standard atmosphere.
