This International Standard specifies a method for determining the thickness of different layers of resilient floor coverings. This document (ISO 24340:2006) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 219 "Floor coverings" of the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) and has been adopted as EN ISO 24340:2012 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 134 "Resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The collaboration of DIN at the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for the field of responsibility of CEN/TC 134 (secretariat: BSI, United Kingdom) is performed through Working Committee NA 054-04-05 AA "Bodenbeläge" ("Floor coverings").
