Overview

The series of standards creates standardized identification features for the electronic registration of vehicles for the field of application electronic fee collection. This part of the standard 'vehicle data' describes all of the data that are relevant for identifying the registration. The series of standards primarily supports manufacturers of tolling systems who no longer have to adapt technical development to the life cycle of vehicles. It also provides vehicle manufacturers with a standardized implementation of identification across national borders.
