DIN EN ISO 3382-3:2012-05

This document specifies methods for the measurement of room acoustic properties in open plan offices with furnishing. It describes measurement procedures, the apparatus needed, the coverage required, the method for evaluating the data, and the presentation of the test report. The measurement procedure can be used to evaluate room acoustic properties in open plan offices. This standard is intended for medium- and large-size open plan offices. The engineering standard in the role of test standard is directed in particular at testing laboratories and engineering offices carrying out architectural acoustic testing. It provides for the first time a standardized test method by which the room acoustic properties can be measured. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 062-02-31 AA "Schalldämmung und Schallabsorption, Messung und Bewertung" ("Sound reduction and sound absorption; measurement and evaluation") at DIN.
