DIN EN ISO 3452-3:2014-03

This document (EN ISO 3452-3:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 135 "Non-destructive testing" in collaboration with Technical Committee ISO/TC 138 "Non-destructive testing", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR. The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 062-08-25 AA "Oberflächenverfahren" ("Surface methods") at the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) at DIN. This International Standard describes two types of reference blocks: - Type 1 reference blocks are used to determine the sensitivity levels of both fluorescent and colour contrast penetrant product families; - Type 2 reference blocks are used for routine assessment of the performance of both fluorescent and colour contrast penetrant testing. The reference blocks shall be used in accordance with Part 1 of this International Standard.
